Just out of interest, what's the model of gauge you have? I've recently bought an Auto Meter 3337-M short sweep electric water temp gauge, and it seems to be reading low, although I haven't got much to back up my claim. Your gauge definitely is missing the metal tabs for the electrical connections....

Yes I have now done it twice drop the diff then undo all the sump bolts turn steering one way to get drag link out the way and fight and move in a way where you can get it around the drag link. Has anyone changed the oil sump gasket on a g16b without pulling the engine? Looks it should come out by dropping the diff out the way?

My 99 vitara is leaking where the transfer case bolts to the gearbox. Does anyone know if I can drop it off without removing the box? I guess its the seal in the attached picture?
