Re: Late model Grand Cherokee diesel

3 litre V6 diesel, auto. Hi there, I had one last year, overland and I was more than happy with it. So happy, that we will go back to it as soon as we have sold our Rubicon. The grand cherokee offers good driving abilities, comfort for everyone (all the family), the diesel has a lot of torque and i...

That'a fair statement so it makes the 5k extra at Jeep even more relevant.

I will close that topic as I believe it is more my problem to read some advertises than something else. I am very happy with my dealership and have an excellent contact in Auckland as well.

Tyres and wheels choice + Lift (by Teraflex)

Good video for the wrangler

I read that most common is the 33 with or without a lift.

Here is the video for the lift

I am thinking about 35 with a 2.5 (up to 3) lift with rim of 16...

Hi, a pretty cool video about explaning the coil spring

Re: Rubicon vs Sport vs Overland

I went through the same thought process before upgrading from my TJ (had kids = need more doors) - I knew I couldnt afford to get into a 3.6 so was looking at the versions in the 3.8 I could afford. I guess the pro's and cons list looks similar. I ended up holding out for a Rubicon as I always had ...

Re: Good news for the wrangler built in 2016

At best you will find a Oct/Nov '15 built as 2016 model year. Build date is meaningless in reality for American manufacturers. Its the Model Year that counts (and hardcoded in VIN). Yes, I wasn't clear as my search of info here in NZ didn't help a lot. Perhaps, better to say that I am looking at a ...

Re: Good news for the wrangler built in 2016

Thanks but I am not complaining about their business/commercial/economical model which is obvious as you say for all manufacturers, it is just that you don't pretend that a car has been built in 2016 if it has been built in 2015 or parked a few years in another countries. Same that you don't call a ...

Good news for the wrangler built in 2016

actually not.... Thanks to my investigations, it sounds that nobody in NZ has a "real 2016 built' wrangler (unlimited or not). Wanted to make sure I forward the information as most of dealerships are pretending they have one or two.... But still easy to see as the bumpers have changed etc... bu...

Re: Jeep US vs Jeep Japan

You can always build a Jeep to your specs and colors, but the wait would be 4-6 months. As it would be built specially for you. I only want to believe you but not sure of it has to do with the branch's 'philosophy' or something else because i can't have such confirmation. I also bought a GC that I ...

Jeep US vs Jeep Japan

Hi,

Looking at the Rubicon, I got to learn that some are coming from Japan (storage that NZ takes) when the regular orders are coming from US.

I was wondering what will be the possible differences.

Thanks.

Thanks but this is what came with the RR parts and it(the type of 3M they put) is crap... so I might go for a marine sealant.
