Righty.... only problem is he's in the NI. Did you need to cert it or is it just a trailer queen

Plan is to cert it. Shipping rims isn't hugely expensive. Each rim cost $170 to convert to a certable beadlocks.

Re: Disco with electric winch

I have just done a dual battery conversion in my D1. Relocated the power steer res and a few other bits and bobs and now have two batteries in stockish locations.

Have a pair of 650CCA's and have an upgraded 150amp alternator.

Matt.

Re: Failed WOF

I have done a few vehicles that required a press without using a press.

Cut the base of the joint with an angle grinder and hammer the pin and ball thru. Then use an angle grinder to cut a wedge out of the joint outer.

Re: Auto-Lockers (Yes / No)

I ran twin auto lockers in my manual truck with silver stones. Awesome traction upgrade and very low cost and pretty easy to install. Was horrid on the street but amazing off road. Driving style does have to change a bit tho and you notice it in tight stuff but the traction upgrade is worth it. My n...

The oil causing the issues would be very unusual. Faulty injectors and burnt glowplugs and faulty sensors are very common issues.

The V6 ratios on the R150 won't suit the diesel and the shifter location is different which will cause tunnel issues.

Re: D21 Terrano draining battery

Do you have a meter? If so put it in amps mode and undo the positive cable and put the meter inline between the cable and battery.

Remove each fuse one at a time noting the current on the meter. When it drops away you have found the circuit.
