Re: Bullbars got WOF for years, now take them off?
from a vague memory they are held on with 4-6 bolts, so apart from winch cables they will come off fairly easily, depending if bolts rusted that is, get hold of a genuine bumper fit with 2 bolts, get warrent and then swop back

the are very good, got them on my disco for road work and offroad of course. very impressed with them with regards to offroad, second set now fitted, even when down to 4-5mm tread they still worked well off road, good on road, not slippery at all, recommend them. have them on beadlocked rims and run...

Re: Chinese 'ARB Knock-Off' Air Compressor - Quality
Run Chiense lockers in my disco (80 series diffs) for the last 5 years, had to replace the rotating seal once, ARB one slotted straight in, front and rear, always engages when i want it, front can be a touch finicky to come out, but happy enough with them

Re: axle swaps
swapping out for Nissan or Toyota stuff is just way to much work for no gain, a silly way to go. slip out your axels on a regular basis if you are off-roading, check the inner spline for any torque twisting yeah the nissan stuff is not a good swop IMO, far prefer the 80 series for extra width givin...

Re: Wilwood High volume Master Cylinders
pretty much the method i use is to fill it up and pump the hell out of it, but if you block off the port with a bearing you can use that as a valve to bleed the master up

Re: Wilwood High volume Master Cylinders
perhaps one of the braided lines has collapsed internally blocking the line, but if your pedal is going to the floor then the master must be bypassing, perhaps remove the lines off the the master, put a small ball bearing into the outlet and clamp in place with a brake nut, master cylinder should go...

most of the competition guys have autos /manualised, allows gear change on the move without loosing momentum, as for engine braking there is another pedal to the left of the accel called a brake, learn to left foot it, and you have just as much control as a manual, when rock hopping or travelling ov...

Be careful with li ion batteries, drop them and be aware, when charging do not leave them unattended, and sure as hell turn them off if leaving the room, sounds dramatic, well Peter Jacksons minitures studio burnt down due to a li ion battery exploding, the guy put the battery on charge, went to the...

and you can fall off the road into a ditch full of water and drown to, and you would not have 20 dd people standing around watching while it happens, Trials is a competition sport that has a element of risk, and looking at it from another point of view its a damn sight safer than cricket and rugby. ...
