Re: injectors for xj cherokee

TJ, i think they would fit any of the post renix motors?. Ant ,the turbo and the non turbo xr6 use the same injectors, non turbo runs 2.7bar fuel pressure and the turbo runs 4.0bar ,they are a 100% straight swap , main advantage on a std motor is that they are the new style 4 hole instead of one, wo...

injectors for xj cherokee

just fitted a set of ba xr6 injectors into the old girl, definitely an improvement for throttle response, maybe a little gain in power but the main gain is alot crisper throttle , gone from the old style single hole injector to the new style 4 hole.will allow for a lot more fuel once a bit of boost i...

definitely a good day again, was suprised how the old jeep went, both 4x4s that beat me were super charged lexus v8s,and even then only by .17 of a second, not bad for a standard cherokee on bald tyres, will be back again next year but with some forced induction plus a diesel dragger for my son to race...

welcome to nz,find a park or school field and with just a tiny swivel on to replicate the weight of a wet fly ,start practising ,once you got it working , start putting objects on the ground and getting the 'fly' right to them, use your elbow not your wrist .once you got that good you can head to a r...

dont waste yor money on 8inch rims, way tto wide and youll be popping them off the beads all the time when you run lower pressures, i ran 30s on 5.5 inch jimny rims and they were good, i wouldnt go wider than 6 or 7 inch, in all the years of owning and thrashing mine i broke 1 cv and that was with b...

with the tyres it all depends on what sort of driving are you doing, and what sort of ground your on,remember the cherokee is quite light and will spin the tyres easily, i just run 32inch radial mud tyres , nothing aggressive as mainly pumice and ash around me, in the mud it will easily pull 2nd or 3...

unfortunatly i would have to agree with beercruiser, especially if its got into the sponge, youll never get rid of the smell, every time you hop in on a hot day it will stink, had the same f..k up with gearbox oil and ended up replacing the seat as the smell would just about make you feel sick.
