HI Towing with that transmission requires you to use it as a manual or it will overheat. The torque converter will not stay locked up and that is where the issue is. In your case the High Engine Temp will have caused the ECU to not lock the torque Converter.

Went through Cockeye creek from the north and all good. Lots of low bushes and gorse etc.

I also had my cert fail on this.

In my case the tyre Manufacturer said 8 1/2 to 12 inch rims....

The certifier is just sticking to the manufacturer requirements

That is not my experience.
They have always been very helpfull.

Went to Toyota this morning and got a new cam belt, tensioner and pulley. Got a new seal as well. that bottom cam belt pulley comes off with just the 4 10mm bolts.
Then a trip back to toyota to get the right seal. All fixed after 3 hours or so.
