Re: Airbag - Remove Fuse for Off Road ?

Thanks guys, sorry about that. Just I have never had a modern vehicle for off roading with Airbags, hence the question. I am used to my 23 year old tank of a Safari and Toyota with such stuff. It was just a question to satisfy myself and put my mind at ease . I have nudged a bank or two while in a 4...

Airbag - Remove Fuse for Off Road ?

Hi all
What fuse do I pull to disable airbags while off road ? Is it the Big Yellow one RH side fuse panel ?
Will I set them off by removing and putting back with ignition off ?

Hope someone knows the answer to this one.

Re: Airbag Light and Others

Says Cherokee Sport on the door, but looks like a liberty , yes 3.7l It was Liberty in US, but Cherokee in other markets. Air bag light might be because of clockspring in the steering. Does your horn work all the time? No horn, air bag light on will be worn clockspring. Ok, so the Horn is good ever...

Nah, she's a light weight, maybe, Not too sure how she will handle what I trow at it. But if a Suzuki can do it I can. Wanted the fun factor back with a Petrol 3.7L V6 . My old Cherokee with the 4.0 Straight Six was worn out. Was told to sell from 2 mechanics. To be honest it had been swimming upto ...

Airbag Light and Others

Hi All Have just purchased a 2001 Cherokee Sport, new shape. Seems to have just developed a fault or two. Hopefully it's a easy fix. Also, what is it's model designation (Jap Import) 1. Airbag light comes on intermittently, but seems more on than off. 2. I think the Radiator Fan shuts down and doesn...

Mine just started to do this , It was the injectors. Had new injector tips fitted and all is well. Apparently mine failed due to clogged fuel filter caused by the Bio Diesel , or so my mechanic says.

With 208000km on the clock it did the head in (Common on cylinder 3) .This was before it got off road , then 1 month later all the injector tips failed. so moral of...

Well, I took one out for a recky for the Uruwera Safari 2012 (Waitangi Weekend), was suitably impressed for a stock standard unit so I bought it today. Let the modifications begin. Only got 500KM to the tank though of light 4X4 , was expecting more. The 1st low was great being an Automatic and no is...
