Chat with the guys at Stag 4X4, they import British vehicles for customers at what seemed like a very good price from memory

Near NEW Nankang Mudstars
Hi guys,
Unfortunately I have to move these tyres on, absolutely loved the performance but moving on to bigger things.
They're a 32x11.5x15 with under 1000kms
Thanks

Re: "Lando" - C79's V8 Disco Build Thread
Hey so it's been years since I've been on here. So the story behind the 3 door one. Sold it after a relationship break up as I had know where to store it. Sold it to a father n son from the UK that were living here spun a big story about how they were gonna do it up and use it for hunting trips. It...

Re: "Lando" - C79's V8 Disco Build Thread
Update #12: A Six Month Catch Up Remember this build???? If not, I don't blame you, I've been very slack with the updates! It's not that I haven't wanted to, but that I've been so unsure about the trucks future, that I felt whatever I'd write one day, would change the next. So, catch up time. Updat...

Re: 15" or 16"
Depends how wide you want you're tyres. If you go 16", you can run 285/75/16 which is around 33x11.50x16. If you go 15" then you are pretty much committed to 12.5" wide tyres. Unless you can get some 33x10.50x15, which are blimin hard to come by at an affordable prcie (unless they're ...

Hi all,
I'm looking for some new muddies for my D2.
Interested in 245/75/16 or sizes around that (31" ish).
Cheers, C79

Re: Public GPS track databases
Great resource, I can't see 'muppets' shelling out the $100 odd bucks to find some tracks tbh. Also a lot of the tracks on these sites are not super local to anywhere... I know here in Christchurch, we have a lot of 'Waimak Warriors' but you don't ever really hear of them making the journey to tackl...

Yea that's not changed since I got my last set, they're a great product for the money! Haha no worries, hope the valance works out. My one never came with one so have no real idea as to whether it'd sneak in there

Re: Disco 1 Front recovery eyes
Yea the panhard mount is a bit of a pain, but it can be easily worked around. I had toyed with the idea of doing shackle holes rather than hooks on the last one and I wish I had. The equaliser strap would be great, I've been meaning to get one made up for a while now haha. And yes, it sure adds up!

This is what you want: http://iforce.co.nz/i/2dp30mkc.5eh.jpg http://iforce.co.nz/i/nhitrufh.mby.jpg We've run this set up on all our Disco's, works well. They come drilled at 7/16" but we bore them out to 1/2". Max a Canterbury Land Rover Spares sells them pretty cheap ($30-40ish a side f...

Lando getting used!!!!
I know there's been no updates or anything in the slightest as to what's happening with all my truck, as to be honest, I don't even know what's happening! I'll have some updates soon, Lando is supposedly 'For Sale' (is it really tho?) but I have been back behind the wheel of it and now that the 'eve...

I believe industrial welding suppliers are generally about the cheapest place (local). I know that's where Dad got his 50mm2 cable from (can't remember which place sorry, can look into if you're interested). Otherwise I've heard of people importing it

Re: Pursuit of low mount winch happiness
Awesome! Very excited for this one! Have just purchased an EVO winch myself... had been toying with the idea of running a Goodwinch Turbo Box controller on it, which gives 24v while winching in, effectively doubling your line speed (I think). I wasn't sure how the Runva motor was going to cope with ...

Re: The 3VIL-Disco
The MAF in my Disco died too, I got mine for about $180 from LRDirect. They have great prices and super fast shipping (last order made it to the Christchurch depot in 4 days). Highly recommend purchasing from them. If you have the time, the same MAF is available somewhere on aliexpress for around $8...

Track setting for Chch WC round. Few clubman courses still need proof driving before the event. You'd be just the guy for the job (and we need a few more hands on saws for clearing gorse). I'd be more than keen! And plenty happy to have a crack grading the clubman stages haha. And I'd be plenty hap...
