Digging up this old thread i came across.
Hows the turbo 18G been going since you got it a few years ago mate?
Im looking at upgrading myself
Have the 12mm pump, front mount cooler and 3" exhaust already.
Holset from Trundles or from Turbo Care?

Re: inlet manifold tech
I say if you have the time and resources then go for it. Like you were saying, if afr and egt improve with a new design manifold then win win. If not at least you will know yourself.

Re: Dyno tuner for diesels in auckland
My 12mm was done by Diesel Turbo Automotive in Hamilton.
Runs well, just looking to make it breath as easy as possible.
Even thinking 3" exhaust is still to small, 3 1/4" dump into a 3.5" would be better.

Re: Dyno tuner for diesels in auckland
Why not dyno tune? Would be good to know a/f numbers to see if more fueling can be added etc.

Re: Northlander '94 Safari turbo
Have you tried greasing the ujs in the two drive shafts to stop the vibration when driving?
Happens to my swb gq around those speeds and I give it a bloody good grease and it stops.
Just a thought.
