Re: WTB: camber shims for l200

i can get ya shitloads as well. dont use washers as mitsi's are a bitch to shim as it is, using washers will be a #### of a time for the poor bastard that has to correct the alignment. they dont fall out unless the nuts are left undone.

every alignment machine will give you a read out of camber, castor, toe, total toe, sai, thrust angle etc etc. only thing that can be done on these is the total toe.

Re: why is IFS better than solid axle offroad

this has always been a debate, but each to their own. i drive a ifs and i love it,this is the 2nd ifs i have owned and has a locked front diff now and is even better than the previous ifs with open front. amazing what a locked front end can do vs a open. next rig will probably end up being a beam bu...

Re: what happend to the sheffield mud plug

was a really good day out, love competing and watching. the issue is over the past few years is the course is getting tighter and more technical and more breakages are occuring and competitors are worried about breaking their rigs. hopefully this year the course isnt as tight and people enter. talki...

Re: As wide as you can go?

305 will cost you around about 200 more a corner compared to a 285, and just looking at maxxis they only do a 315. 285 will be fine but you may get rubbing on full lock and also the speedo will be out

Re: 80 series still pulling left

the drag link wont be the issue at all nor will a sloppy steering box, its the geometry that is causing it, increase the castor on the left and see wat the outcome is. if you want i can have a look at it and do the alignment if need be

Re: 80 series still pulling left

is it drifting or pulling? it should have a drift to the left i normally believe that between 1 and 2 lamp posts are acceptable before having to correct it although that also depends on the speed you are doing. if it is a acceptable drift left then its set up how it should be, and also remember our ...

Re: best all round tyres for r50

a good a/t to consider would be a hankook rf10 or a maxxis 751 both are extremely good, not overly noisy, give you the grip when you need it off road and well behaved on road and exceptional mileage. both are reasonably priced and will give you what you are after. you dont need a mud tyre and mickey...

Re: Tyre pressures

prob with tubes if you get a puncture they will go flat straight away vs tubeless which depending on hole and if anything still stuck in there will seal the hole so will leak slower. also with tubes if there is any crap in the tyre it will rub against the tube causing pitting and eventually lead to ...
