Re: my new 4wd.... kinda

Nice fourwheeler - looks like it will go bloody well offroad. I have a couple of Honda quads and I am interested in using them a bit more offroad instead of just on the farm as the price of fuel is starting to diminish my enthusiasm for using the truck on trips. I'm quite interested in the lockers -...

This one sounds mint i might have to go.. What do they mean high clearance vehicles though? My 70 isnt lifted but its on 33s... For fundraisers like this, the term "high clearance vehicle" is usually used to distinguish between 'soft roaders' and proper full sized 4wds. Your Cruiser will be fine :)

Have you done a bit offroading in the states NJV6? - would be keen to hear your experiences as I'm heading over to the US at some stage next year and I'm extremely keen to do a bit of offroading while I'm there.

For the money do you think a 3.0L turbo Navara would be a better bet considering it will be used as a farm truck and mainly, as well as the odd 4wd trip. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/Cars/Nissan/auction-105484136.htm?key=640100 http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/Cars/Nissan/auction...

Now you mention it I'm not sure - but I think the one we had at a place I used to work was a NZ new 2001 and pretty sure that was a 3 litre turbo... If its just the 5L motor then its still going to be nice, but probably not worth the $$$ Steve Yeah it is still a little pricey - after doing a bit of...

They are nice to drive and go really well with the 1KZ 3 litre turbo-diesel in them. It will be IFS tho... Still - with $24k for the truck and $5k for the SAS it's got to be a really good truck for under $30k :) Steve Cheers Steve - I cant help but imagine a Solid Axel in it either :) - but are you...

TD27 leaking diesel

Unfortunately my Nissan Mistral has recently developed a diesel leak while running. I thought I may he got away with the lower sulphur diesel because it is a 96, but apparently not. Can anyone confirm whether they have one of the older VE rotary fuel injector pumps that are prone to leaking or wheth...

I bought one tonight. I was fanging through Southland with Timotheus, chasing LN106s when we spied it sitting on the side of the road in Edendale. Apparently it'd been there for 2-3 weeks. I'd seen it myself actually, but stopped to test tonight and brought it home. Will post pics tomorrow maybe? 2...

Your truck won't have one and its a highly recommended purchase if you use your truck offroad or tow with. I have just recently fitted one to my Mistral which is exactly the same as your Terrano, same engine and auto etc.

Hope this Helps
