Have you cracked the line at #5 to see if theres a blockage?
Seems obvious start point.
Also see if swapping the #6 injector for the #2 unit. This should show up whether its a electrical or fuel issue or if the injector unit is faulty.
Just a thought...

Re: sr20 surf buggy
F.core is good for structual but at 1.6mm just way to heavy for panel steel. Pick a small role of 0.6mm and wind it onto an old drum that fits your mig. You will also need mixed gas. I have heard of using straight argon but unsure of results. Others will hopefully chip in if im wrong. As you want to...

Re: sr20 surf buggy
Sheet metal isn't very fun. with the wire speed as low as I can get it and the power also as low I'm still blowing holes through it super quick. maybe i need to invest in some gas haha. Couple of tips i found. Use 0.6mm wire Use mixed argon co2 gas as welds a little cooler Pull the weld onto the met...

Re: Wtb bj74 speedo cable for a automatic
they would be the same as a manaul just a little bit longer at a guess, that said the 5 speed box is similar to a auto. the connection is in the tranfur box rear output housing and that can be rotated so if its a bit tight you may find moving by 60d might be all it needs

Re: Porsche Off -- A Cayenne Offroad Project
Wire the isolater into the low amp side of the control box. The low amp side has a perminate pos that feeds the forward reverse switches. Break into that small cable ran switch. Heavy winching will melt those switches. Just remember that the switch will only shit itself under loading... and thats ex...

prob the best esp' now you are towing.
ran a good engine prop fan as well. leckys cant keep up with high hard usage.
in my 70 with v8 sbc the engine prop fan took 15d+ off the temps compared to twin 16" c.d. fans
see you at manukau w.c.?

Plus any issues and he solves it quick fast. The cv knocking has reduced lots. They are still worn but now that the cvs are held cente...

I went the sensible way, as most of the info on these I could find were from people cutting springs and lowering them to the ground with shiny bits of chrome and 28" chrome spinning rims, so I bought a landcruiser
haha god shit i got one of the cruiser FZ models. grouse motor but a tad ...

kricky mate you are asking for lots here ah. you need to do wind tests to see what the air is doing at different speeds. i know a bloke a while back who spent ages driving at different speed with rags tied to the back on tight wire grid type pattern to see where best placement of rad would be. as yo...

Ah you are a very clever man there bud. How and where did you source the spare parts from. Ive got an toyota l.m sitting on bench which just about made it to the scrap bin because of this very issue. What are the legalities of rock sliders and side airbags? exactly.. at the end of the day I guess they are just super strong side steps... but getting the WOF guy to agree may be a different story. Its not whether they suit'em its more about the damage if you dont have'em.
Its the way i would be looking at sliders.
Cause you never know when that rock or tree will step out and toast ya sills if you dont protect them ah

Re: pto driven hydraulic winch
Yes my advice was that yes i could flow 80 tp 100ltrs at 700rpm i could not get enough pressure. As flow is drum rotation which is then directly linked to rope speed. Pressure is winch motor pulling power. More pressure equals more pull. Im flowing around 85 to 110ltrs/m and std winching sits around...

Re: pto driven hydraulic winch
currently have Lexus auto with surf transfercase, which we all know has no pto drive... I have a plan which envoles some cutting and welding or plan b is a prado case but offset drive. plan a is to make a 70 series pto fit, so gear ratios should be similar to a factory prado set up. ...

Re: pto driven hydraulic winch
Just thinkin....
If youve got the mid to late 80's l.c. auto theres a good chance of running a pto.
The l.c. auto has a small brake fitted into it to stop the trans from rotating whislt engageing gears whilst transfur box is disconnected. This unit would suit any pto set up.

Re: pto driven hydraulic winch
1st thing you need to confirm is if your auto can take a auto? If its running a early prado then possibly yes. If not then you will need to look at driving off the crank pully. Or doing serious mods to auto rear tail output shaft into transfur box. Off hand there is a set up where a 2nd transfur box...
