do you happen to know anyone out at woodburne, they have all the gear, eroder etc. Well did have 18yrs ago. Our usual charge then was a packet of choc biscuits, not sure what inflation will have done to it.

What do you mean by "hasn't been looked at"? In that many km you'd be on your fourth timing belt and we know how much has to come out just to change the spark plugs on those things. I take it that changing timing belts, oil and filters and other routine/ annual checks aren't part and parc...

I've used my 12000lb on for a couple of simple recoverys and am very happy with it. Last used on a riverbed where pulling the other person was just digging me in. :D Really pleased to have it. :D

As for the sythetic rope yes that has arrived and I think it's Amsteel blue good stuff and if it's not Amsteel Blue it's a bloody good copy , The only thing wrong is I wanted 11mm as a sample but got 12mm at least it wont break the cost was 5.57 nz per metre plus freight I am going to get them to s...

I used to run around Africa with up to 3 bottles in the car and never had a problem in the heat. Just make sure the vehicle isn't air tight. My Landrovers never were :o
