Re: How to replace rear center seat belt on Nissan Safari?

If it's like the 80, I had to remove the upholstry from the rear, unbolt and replace. Had to take the seats completely out. Was an easy job, just fiddly.

My cruiser was doing exactly what your talking about, head has been off and pressure tested fine. Head is going back on today with a new gasket. Head guy said the only other thing it could be would be the Oil Cooler, but 1HDT might be very different to yours...

The Agreed value is the maximum they will pay under the policy, but they will work out market value at time of loss. Basically what John told me was it gives you a line in the sand to argue from. Did you read the last policy doc? Unless stated differently in this policy, we will indemnify the insure...

That depends on where in the country you buy it from, quite a few counties dont use salt now. And it would likely be less than 10 years old.

Importing a defender from the UK

Hi All,

Before I start researching this, has anyone imported a Defender from the UK? Looking to replace the cruiser with something newer.

Looking to price up a Mall crawler, 8+ seater 90 or 110. Used by a mum do drop the kids off at school.

Thanks,

Bill

Those dog bones will help, but you will need to follow the factory instructions for adjusting the handbrake, since I put the dog bones in and learnt how to adjust it properly I havent had any issues.

Been a decade since I've been up there, but from memory with this amount of rain there will be long sections under water and you wont be able to tell where the bog holes used to be. I would be prepared for some longer distance recoveries, pretty sure last time I went in with Central Otago club, that...
