the dizzy is an electronic dizzy don't know if that matters as for the carb it is the impco carb so no not factory. will try the petrol thing threw one of the vacuum ports to see if it revs

lpg truck wont rev
hi all my winch challenge truck has been sitting outside for 3 weeks without starting and went to start it today and It wouldn't start, then when I finally managed to get it to start it wouldn't rev past 2k. it runs an impco lpg mixer and vacuum shutoff valve and carb. ive pulled all the bits apart ...

Well after a call to wellington lvvta they called and sorted out with the cert guy and he rang back today saying the driveshaft loop had to have some more bolts but not be made from 6mm so thats a result. Still laughing about the shade cloth though haha.

hi all thanks for your replys, the turbo is brand new straight out of the box. have spoken to the supplier and i thought it was because i didnt run a constrictor in the oil inlet to start with and it had made its way threw for too long so i put new seals in the turbo and just one as it only has room...

i have a niggle and i have tried everything, ive recently put a turbo on the td42 and it has a water to air intercooler on it. ive got an oil leak from the rear of the turbo and its making the exhaust expel oily smoke. ive got a turbo off an rb25 and have pulled it apart and put a seal kit threw it....

can i suggest changing the entry form on 4x4 challenges to $200 as not all people who enter wc comps look at this site and $$$ may be a little put off for some. i have just put my entry in, look forward to the event

well not much has happened on the project, seem to have lots of things to do, but i did get a little done on the long weekend. did a bit more burning, now both sides of the chassis extension are welded. takes a long time when you have to keep waiting for the welder to cool down. http://i788.photobuc...
