i'm pretty sure there different but if it where me i would sell what you got and buy a diesel one rather than piss around with the conversion and cert and all that jazz, ive got a diesel gearbox i can take a picture of it if you like if that would help, its 2wd but still 4d56

2004 mazda bounty lift kit

yeah put some fancy osram bulbs in night breaker i think... suppose to be 110% brighter than standard... i didn't even notice a difference

yeah its my low beam that sucks high beam sweet, i swear there aimed far to low... if i lifted the beam it would be sweet but the wof guy had a melt down when i said that but its ridiculous almost dangerous as it is

not hydraulic lifters on 4d56 diogenese might just need the tappet clearances checked or its could possibly be cracked just inspect them since your there adjusting etc

you can always add food coloring to the water your pouring on the suspected area that way you can see the trail easier, as water is very hard to track if that helps

well i think i found the problem.... when i put the engine back together the tappet cover gasket half fell out at the back and it was crushed all half in half out....so glad it was an easy fix but i really hope this was the problem and nothing else. the next few days will tell!

also starts up like a absolute dog when cold so me think maybe it is the valve steam seals allowing oil to sit on the glow plugs might have to pull them out and check them too.

i guess i shouldn't jump to worst case scenario, I've been goggling peoples opinions on similar problems and no one has mentioned valve stem seals , more i think about it surely i wouldn't be them, also it has a new manifold gasket but i did undo it and one stage and then put it back on and its one ...

so oils leaking from the intake manifold quite badly on my brothers pajero 4d56t then running onto the exhaust manifold and burning which is a fire risk :shock: when you take the oil cap off the oils creating vapor quiet bad, coolants fine no oil in water or water in oil etc, lots of blow by......fa...

so looking at a hilux ute with a 5L motor how do these stack up against a 1kz are they the same motor just ones turbo and ones not ? which is more reliable ? and if i was to get the 5L hilux cheap enough how readily available are turbo kits etc ? what are my options ? i know nothing about toyota die...

i got 31 buckshots on mine, mint as didn't need raising i dont think but i chucked 50mm body lift in it anyway maybe it was rubbing ? i dont remember but the buckshots ive put 56,000 km on them so far and i'm down to 5mm tread not very good in the mud now but its more a work truck then mud truck but...

vechicle done 275,000 trans fluid was reddy brown but was actually quite clean looking no metal filings in sump of trans etc

L200 and Pajeros have different waterpump thermostat housing set up and the pajero ones have a rubber ring around the thermostat L200 ones don't that i have ever come across mine have never had one. and ditto i never use paper gaskets just goo the sucker

i had 265 75 16s on mine and it rubbed but i cut back the guards and hit some stuff and it still wasnt the best so i went back to 31's still got the 265 75 16 which i think are 33s? sapped alot of power and drank more fuel was more the reason i went back to 31's currently putting a bigger turbo on m...

done. worked a treat only thing i would have done differently was get the compressor and blow the old old back to the trans through the oil return line but i forgot, i don't think that amount of oil will do harm, new oils nice and clean and red !
