We cut the swivel ends off Nissan front diffs and throw them away at work (put Toyota swivels on!) I'll see what I can find and what the boss wants for them...

You can get profile cut spacer rings made.
We've used them at work before to fix opposite problem, ie bead loose in clamp...
Take a rim into a engineering place that can profile cut and see what they say...

However, My last set of bead locks always had a small gap, I never worried about it...

I'm cheap, I use spray can and touch up the scratches when needed.
Have a mate who's got his exocage painted nicely and so far is lasting alot better than my spray can job...
So either way!!!

Yip, Bluetooth headsets in helmet are great! I use for trials and they last all day, can talk to navi when there out of truck guiding recovery or when walking course before driving it. Biggest thing we found was to 'pair' them together away from the pits so other devices didn't interfere with them, ...

Will be easy going scenic drive along top of ranges under wind turbines and then up to a doc hut, mostly gravel roads easy enough to do with AT's. trip is aimed at family's who own a 4wd but don't use it offroad and also people wanting to take a easy drive with some awsome views! I had a welded diff in my lada (Trailer queen), when I made a steel casing front diff I thought I'd try the welded diff in the front and go play in a familiar bit of land, the traction was awesome, a lot better than welded in the back, got up hills easier than expected! but simple turns became 3 poi...

Heard Howie's played with ABS units for powering his hydrolic lockers, might be worth a call to him to see what he found out...

He's normally happy to chat about things like that.

I'll look at using that for my next Howie locker!
