FFS where did all this crap come from? As stated in this thread its posted in non 4wd videos so there should be no comments attacking the poster period. In fact there should be no attacks on posters fullstop even if they are out of line. The first step should be reporting the post so a moderator ca...

The video was posted in
"Board index » Offtopic » Videos - Non 4wd Related"
It was a video, non 4WD related, so posted in exactly the right place.
So I don't understand the personal attack. If you don't want to watch non 4WD videos don't. Just don't whine or attack when someone posts one.

Re: New WOF rules announced
I don't think this is a good change. A WOF inspection, for a lot of people, is the only time tyres etc get checked. Allowing annual inspections in 6 more months on balding tyres. How can that be good? A vehicle in good condition, in my experience, takes less than 30 minutes to get a WOF and only the...

The evil looks could be due to a couple of recent incidents where idiots have destroyed the eggs and/or nests or chicks of the protected black backed gull. In one incident some brainless moron in a 4WD is said to have driven through a nesting area destroying nests and eggs. The second incident some ...

Re: Any one want to get a GPS Tracker?
Depends on your dash. Metal will block GPS signals. I can run a standard navman low in my dash, below the CD-radio player and it still gets 7 sat's. The dash is essentially plastic. This would mean I could conceal the antenna in the my dash and no-one else would know that it is there. Probably could...

Well it started well, took my son to his cricket game. He bowled well, got 1 wicket for 7 runs off 3 overs & a run out at the bowlers end while he was bowling. He then kept well for the rest of the innings. He held his end up while battings 2 runs of the bat in 6 overs, team won 112-111. Got hom...

Did you get out and about in the last snowfall? On the Monday I needed 4wd to get out of my garage, in the Rolleston New World carpark, the council HQ carpark, and on the BP forecourt (before they had it swept) - but I didn't need chains (which I have) and didn't need to let air out of my tyres. Did...

I would keep away from that area the weekend of the 7th/8th as it is the opening of the Gamebird season, could be a few Hunters about. FITZY. You're not suggesting that hunters would mistake a 4WD for a gamebird? I know my eyesight isn't good - but even I can tell the difference.

actually at Woodhill there are quite a few rules that aren't enforced. Like no dogs, there is a recovery fee, forms should be signed, etc. Seems more like it is there just for the look of being responsible. Failure to enforce the rules leave the operators/management very liable if someone is...

Re: Who is liable when doing safety patrols?
Motorsport and alcohol (and other drugs) shouldn't go together. Morons who can't have fun without drinking alcoholic drinks should be politely and then rudely told to go away from participating in a motorsport. The only truly enforceable solution is to get the area declared an alcohol free zone by t...
