power steer?

My yn65 hilux has no powersteering at all which is a armbuilding experience whenever im out churing up mud!! Does anyone know if any hiluxes came out with factory power steering that would bolt on to my one? Im still running the factory 3y motor. If so what model lux was it? any mods required? Thanks

I have check that and ps and ds are on the right sides so im stumpd?? Could the torque rod have anything to do with it??

Howsit all, Ive fitted my lift kit to my yn65 hilux, the kit is all maxitrac, springs and shocks, Now the problem is The truck is lop sided, saging on the lefthand side. Anyone struck this problem?? I've double checked all springs are in correctly and all looks good so im a bit stumped?? It only sag...

Thanks for the info guys, I had the drag link modified and the ball joint fixed up, set me back $250 to have that done, fitted that now and the lux drives again!!! Wots the story with W.O.F with the drag link?? cert? and ware can I get an adjustable torque bar??

thanks for the info, big help indeed! Pulled the j arm off along with the draglink taking them to my engineer this week hopefully be all back going again by the weekend! I hope!!

i asked for flat top u-bolts and the ones they gave me have flat edges and they still hit the steering arm you are talking bout is this the c shaped arm or the drag link? Can neone shed som light on this for me??
I just finished installing my new maxitrac springs, longtravel shocks and new u-bolts, problem is the steering arm still hits the spring even with the new u-bolts in. I used all maxitrac products. Is ther a way to remedy this problem with bolt on parts?

good to know then, they have obviously droped in price since the last tym I orderd them and if the buckshots are 250 you might aswell get them over the nankang just for the quality diference. I changed to the dunlop MT 1's recently, I have only been out once on them but they seem to clean themselves...

mudstars are more round the 200 mark each buckshots prob looking more round the 300 mark each, I c ant remeber exact prices but I do know the reason for going with the n889 was the price diference was huge and you wernt gaining much with the buckshots.

They are a good tyre, as you say though they only go up to 31's, Ive found them to be slippry on the wet road but in the mud at low pressure they went awsome I worked for firestone for a few years and got good reports back for customers bout them, hope this helps

I ran nankangs on my truck and the went really well especialy for what you pay, I work for Beaurepairs and been in tyres for a few years now, sold a heap of nankang n889's ,big forestry tyre due to giving huge milage and chunky grip in my area (Gisborne) not sure wot they like in snow as it dont sno...

Howsit, I ran into the same prob with an old truck of myn, after a bit of inspection found it was my auto hubs shitn out, so replaced with manuel hubs and problem solved!! plus although you have to get out to lock your hubs they still have their advantages, when on steep hills coming down, ive seen ...
