Need some company? Yeah, we do, but DOC doesn't seem to understand that traveling into remote places with a second vehicle is good practice, especially considering their so health and safety conscious these days. They allow one hunting party, one tramping party and one 4WD party through e...

Re: Cleaning ORE up, or shutting it down

As many others have said, please keep it going and clean it up. Like others have here, I've been around since the start & seen some excellent tech & some complete drivel. I guess the best model to try & copy is Pirate where the rubbish is not tolerated in tech and quickly dealt to by the...

Why are they using tractor grip tyres? Surely traction is king, so big mt's worn down to f'all with a high torque diseesal should be a winner.

Re: labour weekend 20th /22nd

I decided that after the other weekends Central NI cruise the front of the 130 was in need of pimping up. So I got my a into g and finally tidied up & fitted the winch bar that's been sitting in the corner of the shed for a couple of years, fair bit of rust needed dealing to & so cleaned the...

Removing powdercoating

Anybody got any tips on how best to remove the powder-coating from a bullbar? I've tried using a basic sanding disc, but it makes a mess of the disc very quickly & is taking forever.

Well the good news is I finally have got it back in my own shed, after having stored it at the neighbors since we moved house, I even had a bit of a poke around at it on Sunday but decided to waste my time trying to fit a winchbar onto the 130 instead

Old Army Trailer

So a year or so ago I bought myself an ex army trailer, bit of a mess with the classic rust in the base where the water sits, but the chassis was in good order & it had a WoF & rego. http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg107/furgus72/pic004.jpg?t=1319093193 http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/...
