Re: Can i get some opinions on this as a buy..

Hrmmmm, im beguinning to think this might not be the right 4wd for me. My love and desire for a 70 series is clouding my mind, but i think i might be better waiting till i can afford a better example and getting something else in the meantime..

Back to the hunt...

Cheers Team!

Cheers for the info, do you know the most likely places to find rust i should be looking for? Cart springs? (sorry for my ignorance) Do you know how hard it is to find door skins, carpets etc for these?

Cheers again,
Alex

Hi Dazza

Cheers for the info, I've decided on hooks now for that very reason, hate too see the shackle go flying, just out of curiosity, how do the shackles tend to break? Pull the pin out or..?

Hi Tomo They're 31" Kumho KL71's i got on special for $250 a tyre, haven't put too many kms under them yet but cant fault them so far, finally got to put them in the mud last weekend and didn't have any issues and in the wet they handle better than my daily driver. Good tyre. Cheers Alex.

There was a thread similar to this one on the fishing forums not so long ago, guys getting picked up without HT licences at boat ramps. Majority had no idea they were in HT country with the combined weight of their rigs, no fines had been dolled out at that point and they ended up getting the 5/0 an...

Hi UBZ, about to do just that :D its strange, shes been fine on the brakes for the last 500kms since they were done, need to be adjusted slightly but have now worn them in enough to do this.

Will jack her up and take a look.
