Hrmmmm, im beguinning to think this might not be the right 4wd for me. My love and desire for a 70 series is clouding my mind, but i think i might be better waiting till i can afford a better example and getting something else in the meantime..

Cheers for the info, do you know the most likely places to find rust i should be looking for? Cart springs? (sorry for my ignorance) Do you know how hard it is to find door skins, carpets etc for these?

Kinda thought of doing something simular to that when i had them on the lawn, use the weight of the quad to break the bead and get in there but useing the hose was worried would end up with water in the rims. Hi Tomo They're 31" Kumho KL71's i got on special for $250 a tyre, haven't put too many kms under them yet but cant fault them so far, finally got to put them in the mud last weekend and didn't have any issues and in the wet they handle better than my daily driver. Good tyre. :wink: Cheers Alex.

Sweeeeeet :mrgreen: :mrgreen: Took the hubs off, adjusted the drums, checked everything else was sweet, hubs back on, reverse no problems, wheels back on, off the axle stands and off for a test thrash. (looks like pad was just getting caught up, odd only in reverse but..) End result = all good :wink...

Hi UBZ, about to do just that its strange, shes been fine on the brakes for the last 500kms since they were done, need to be adjusted slightly but have now worn them in enough to do this.
