Fitted a 2inch lift to the old ladies 80 series.
Drowned Safari (Water over half of the roof) claim accepted and being taken away tomorrow. No pics as phones and camera went in the water and mates helping out get the kids out. Time to go shopping.
Huge thanks to Scruff123 for your help.

Hey man, nah I ended up going for the Maxxis Bighorn 764s. By the time I worked out freight it wasn't worth getting them. If your in the South Island it's probably worth it.

Is there anything else I should consider? security system including phone alert / gps tracker, cobra alarms have waterproof sirens, don't bother with the "5 star" systems A good one to consider is Warlock Car alarms. We just had their pager system fitted to my wife's WRX so far so good. T...

Ill start this one off.
Trimmed the rear guards on the safari to stop rubbing at full flex.
Also fitted diff spacers to the front control arms to stop rubbing as well.
Tomorrow I might go and test it out.

Hey Mate, My brother has a 24v Landcruiser. The smoke when cold is quite a comon thing. His can sit on idle and puff it out and it clears once warm. His one doesn't leak at the sunroof so I can't comment on that. He hasn't had any issues with leaking power steering so again can't comment on that. Al...

Re: My first Nissan Safari up for sale
That looks like a minter. I would love to experience GQ Patrol ownership at some point, but the variations in prices on Trademe seem to be absolutely insane. It would be cool to find a bone stock one that had never been offroad. Yeah she was pretty tidy when I got it. Previous owner was a old guy w...

My first Nissan Safari up for sale
This was my first safari I owned.
Looks exactly how I sold it just now has A/Ts and manual hubs. Plenty of time and funds went into it esp fitting the pto.
http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=733670388
I sold it for $9,000 so shows how they can keep their value.
