Re: Oil catch can question

Hey, I’ve been doing research on the same thing for my 1KD hilux. Have a look at this: https://www.berrimadiesel.com/oil-catch-cans And https://www.baileysdiesel.com/shop/universal-catch-can-kit-suit-makes-models/ I’m going to get one for my truck and then clean the intake etc and hopefully it stays...

I buy all my gasket sets from ACL because work uses their industrial gaskets. I like them and are cheap thru work. Just my 2c

R151F gearboxes

Hi, recently got my hands on a 1KD KUN26 hilux. Looking at a few adaptor options for different engines and there’s 2 different input shaft lengths for the R151F gearboxes. Can anyone confirm that 160mm input shaft is from a 1KZ hilux, Prado etc and 190mm is what will be in my hilux? Most adaptors wo...

Re: 2000+ 4wd ute options.

Yea I did think about one of thos but way out of my price range. I liked thos tritons too, even the new 4d56 seems like a good engine, But I ended up getting a good deal on a 05 hilux with a 1KD engine, gees they arnt a powerhouse! Big change from a 6 litre v8. Like the truck itself, just the lack o...

Re: 2000+ 4wd ute options.

I’d love a Ute like that Andrew! Cheers crash, good to know. Took a 70 series cruiser for a drive yesterday with a 1kz and manual, definatly not for me, I’d get frustrated with the lack of power. Just drove the 70 to see what that engines like. Now I’ve been looking at 2000+ hiluxs with the 3rz 2.7....

2000+ 4wd ute options.

Gidday, I’m looking at getting a 2000+ ute soon and I’m after people’s thoughts on what’s good and what’s not. 4wd obviously, I want to be able to lift and put 33s, and a bumper of some sort etc so want to avoid something with obvious flaws (eg the weak front factory earlier terrano steering, or bre...

Cool thanks, will do more research into changing to thos cams. Re: paj1 build up

Also do you have any info on that engine? Like the year etc? Reason I ask is my 3.5 runs out of puff at about 5500 rpm yet the rev limiter is at somewhere just over 7000. The cams from the engine you have might be different and might make power higher in the rpm range which I'd like, and drop straig...

Please check the auction. Added oil and the jack seems to work fine. Haven't lifted any weight but been thru full travel. Ram is a bit scored but no rust pitting. Seems to work sweet as. Pictures added to listing.

Marlin 30-30 for swap

Hi, I have a marlin lever action 30-30 and I'm wanting to swap for something a bit more suited for deer stalking.

30-30 in good condition, has a cheap scope on it.

Swap for Bolt action centre fire, eg 7mm-08, 270, 308 etc

Anyone interested?

I'm located in Dannevirke.

Thanks
Cole

Not a problem to hold on to it, getting it scrap valued will be a bit of challenge. I live outta town but if I remember I'll get a couple of mates to give me a hand, when they are round, to get it on the trailer and take it in.

Re: What is this thing? Welder/electric motor?

Cheers guys, so your both saying the keyed shaft drive is an input to generate its own power for welding out in the field? It's of no use to me and is super heavy so if someone likes it and wants to make an offer then feel free. Ya have to come pick it up tho. Given how heavy it is id say there's a ...
