Where will your seatbelt anchorages be? If not mounted to the seat then a well built setup should be fine. Bit more involved if seatbelts are anchored to seat frame. Good question top will be onto the roll cage bottom could prob go on the same bolt where the back post is if I just gusset one side?....

was just going to leave tank as its in original position and its been there for 35 years already and theres an lpg tank hanging under the floor so not many other places to put a tank

I emailed cert guy with plans and photos and he wrote back read the lvv manual

Im trying to design/build my seat mounting in my fj40 finely come up with a design I think will work. What do you guys think in terms of getting cert ? or any other ideas only having small post at the back with the one bolt in exsisting mount location as I still have my petrol tank under the drivers...

I am after some hinges off a folding vechicle seat got a 60 series bench seat for my 40 but I want to make it hinging talked to Ken (cert guy) and he sugests I get some original hinges off another sort of seat that maybe adapted as it makes things alot easier for cert unless anyone has any other sug...
