Re: Safari Rear springs into rear of WD21 Terrano
Hi there, have done the safari rear spring swap on my build, but i have also put a safari front axle underneath the front of it. Did it only to keep things easy to upgrade i.e buy a whole saf lift kit rather than mismatching bits and pieces. there is a fair bit involved, cheaper to buy a a new pair ...

no nissan v8s yet?
VH41's and 45's are easy to come by, decent power and torque.
Not hard to match up auto boxes either apparently.

Re: Cert Process info
the local certifier here prefers to either see it, or see plenty of photo's of the work thats been done before during and after, specialy stuff that is hidden behind body etc. i.e on a scratch build car he would want to either see the door locks and seat belt anchorages before they get covered up by...

Went up to longwoods for a play with some nw mates, had a ball. Quite pleased with the terrano and how it performed, used 1/4 of a tank for about an hours driving and 3-4 hours playing. Didnt even come close to overheating, intercooler is working wonders. Flares worked wonders , other trucks d...

Re: 24v to 12v (winch)
This is more of a question for me,
But if its set up correctly running the truck of a single battery, and only the winch using them both, how would it make the rest of the car run at 24?

Since youd be best running two batterys, would it not be easy to just connect them to both batts in series?

Re: Steering Damper or RTC D21
aslong as your not applying heat or modifying chassis mounts etc you should be allright. if you make use of the idler arm mounting bolts (even if you have to buy longer ones) and just bend up a peice of flat or even a piece of angle. Best bet would be to chat to who does you warrants though as theyr...

Re: Steering Damper or RTC D21
probably cheaper to make one,
two u bolts and a bit of angle/flat bar bent to shape with a couple of holes drilled.
