Re: 1993 suzuki samurai.....

Great trucks by the way, super fun off road.

If the truck does not need a WOF and is an off road only truck then plate the frame and weld on the rock sliders, if you need to get a WOF on it then you need to bolt them on is how i understand things, cheers

Re: Pajero 3500 V6 - Fuel Consumption

I had a 1997 3.5L LWB Pajero a few years back, I got around 325-350 K's to a tank, petrol was a bit cheaper then at about $130 for a full tank. It had only done 80k's when I bought it

Re: V6 Vitara Body Lift Thread

I learned 2 things when lifting my truck

1. Lift only one side at a time as its hard to line it back up again otherwise.

2. A scissor jack sitting on each wheel makes it easier to lift the body up.

Re: Looking for a 4wd....

I had a 1997 LWB V6 3500 Paj Auto a few years back, very comfortable to drive, impressed the hell out of me off road but only about 350 K's to a tank full and it took about $140 to fill it up, also my experience expensive to fix when it went wrong, I traded it in on a new car in the end because I wa...

Re: Does a Bighorn V6 have a LSD or open diff?

The VIN plate should include G80 if it has a factory fitted LSD I retro fitted one in mine which I purchased off TM for a couple of hundred bucks, well worth the effort as it gets you further. One way to test for LSD is to jack up both back wheels and turn one of them if the other side goes the same...

Re: rear spring lift 4 mu

I have a 1990 bighorn which I believe is similar to the MU. I fitted 2" extended shackles which gave about 1" of lift and then turned the front torsion bars 4 turns to make it all level again. Later I fitted new EFS leaf springs at the rear new EFS shocks and then fitted new OME torsion ba...

Re: Staun Beadlocks

Thanks all for the comments, all booked in with UCS to fit later this week. I happened to mention to somebody out on my last club run that I wanted some and he had some to sell that had been used 3 times so a deal was done.
