I have a 2006 hilux 2WD . It has a open wheel 4.1 rear diff that's noisy. Does any one know what other diff heads that will work in this vehicle that are LSD? I was told a LN106 diff head would but need to know before i buy, thanks

89 hilux 4x4. factory 2.8. has turbo (2.4 i think). no deck. dereg. runs mint, Unsure of 4WD. reasonable cond. may come with live body. 3k cash palmy 0279665225 cash only

After some quick advice, I was offered a surf with a certified 5MGE fitted.

Whats peoples thoughts on this conversion? Seems to run ok, Engine is bit oily looking. Starts up fine etc, Dosnt appear to be any smoke.

As above, Not after anything flash. Cheaper the better, Im in palmy area. May look at 32" even 35" if cheap enough, Once again something cheap/worn but wofable is fine. 0279352182

awesome cheers for the info, i dont spose you know about the inlet side? i know i put the 2lt manifold on, but some 1 did mention something about removing butterfly etc?

do i need to replace the 12mm bolt and washer when using manual hubs? i put it back in but it seems to keep the cv locked. Without it works fine?

any ideas?

Last but least , Any one know where i can buy a longer rear brake line? As ive had undo mine of the diff to allow more travel as it was being stretched.

new filler and breather hoses to the fuel tank,2 new radiator hoses longer and slightly different shape to original.lifted gearbox 50mm i think it was as well as tunnel trim to make sticks work properly and remove front handbrake clamp and loosen the 2nd i think it was.also installed steering shaft...
