Flashing dash lamps is usually corroded terminals on the alternator two pin plug, pull it off and some dialectric grease in the slides - fixed. Or - if it persists pull alternator for overhaul

Ooooo I know that truck, I drooled over it on my watchlist for months - saw it once in Chch parked near a tyre shop - so huge Always wondered who did the bar work - lovely front & rear No real help sorry - but would have a gawk at IH8MUD - they all run 6" lifts & freeway speeds on 37's ...

This is interesting because I got my pump and injectors done and it still smoked but put the catch can on and now its better. :D +1 mine was like $3200 or something new pump & injectors ouch & still at night sitting at a red light Im glad Im not sitting behing my fumey old million dollar 80...

Yup from memory on the Unimogs the bottom of the axle was about where the top of it would have been w/o portals so about a 4" drop With unimog axles the bottom of the diff head (factory shaved!) is in line with the centre of the wheel, so to get 12" of ground clearance you would only need...

sorry mate cant make it went to start truck this afternoon and no go? called AA as im useless with cars and they looked at it and said the starter motor needs work. He tapped on it with a hammer while i started which it did ok but he said may have problems so will have to get a auto electrician to ...

I was on the other side watching & from my POV the bloke in the yellow Safari must have known every .0001 of a mm of his centre of gravity when he pinned it along the wall - ha , was nice to see someones tyres almost off the bead sideways
