also in danger of been closed to public because land owners at each end are sick of 4wds tearing it to pieces. befor long it will another closed road because some people cant hook a tow strap up instead of digging massive holes.

Ive ordered a budget boost kit(coil spacer and shackles) and 3" shocks for now but will get some 3" lift coils later on as. I have a few sets of leaf springs laying round so wil barstad pack the arse end because its sagged and I do alot of towing so n extra leaf should work ok for now. Onc...

i have been looking at bringing it in myself but the freight cost is around $1200 to bring in a complete kit which is more than im wanting to spend at the moment because total cost would be around $2500 by the time ive got all the parts I want...while this isn't a huge amount when you price up parts...

At this point im probably going to go 1600cc I think...if it lets go or doesnt do what im wanting I will just rip it out and fit a different motor. Will fit some reduction gears to transfer as the smallest tyres I will run would be 37's.

I have seen people comment about the j18's on other forums etc im new to the Suzuki motors and the other sj's ive had over the years I had put Toyota t=series motors into so these are a different thing for myself. the v6 will have a bit more power but a lot of people are saying about reliability on ...

looking for a truck to start my new build but am in two minds about both as they both have good and bad points in my eyes so wanting to know peoples opinions on both engine options. at this point im split between the 2 but will most likely go with an auto as it will suit my needs better...so I guess...

yea I will either re-gear the diffs but will most likely do a gear set in transfer as will either run 35 or 37's again.
what diff have you used? have you stuck with Suzuki to keep the track width for cert etc

still has another 1inch of shock shaft travel yet but 37 bottoms out in the tyre well haha but yea does the job of keeping the tyres on the ground.

ive been up there and had a quick look around when we were riding at the bike park and couldnt see a great deal of very hard tracks, is there a map or any post on here showing the harder stuff. the boys who do thompsons all year round say dont worry with the place.

Why would you F*** up a truck that works well by going to 4" lift? If you after an increase in performance with it then keep it as low as possible. The higher you take the worse it will climb hills, the worse the side slope will be, the worse the antisquat will get. (mid you GQ AS is pretty ba...
