Re: Jalopy V2.0
So your just using hummer internals? I do know Jesse can fit his setup into a 17"rim. Why not just use the factory housings and have the option of a semi easy replacement if something fun happens? I have already answered my question i know. Your good at making the chips fly and custom alloy is ...

Re: Checkerheads new project.
Hi Aaron, Just wondering what peoples experience has been with these in the mud and grit and how much they will wear, as they are not adjustable and don't think they are rebuildable. I know they are used a lot in the States but a lot of their wheeling seems to be done in the dry Cheers Tim I have t...

Re: Wilwood High volume Master Cylinders
Sweet Pedro will give that a go! Any special ideas on bleeding the Master Cylinder? In the past I have just stuck my thumb over the outlet and pumped the pedal and once its starting to draw fluid its all good. Having trouble with this method on this one.

Re: Wilwood High volume Master Cylinders
Nah all steel and braided.
Its not like Im dealing with a spongy pedal... I got nothing. pedal is to the floor. It sucks cos when one master cylinder isnt working I have f all from the other... The two master cylinders are tied together with a balance rod thing

Wilwood High volume Master Cylinders
So... not really the norm round here but My buggy uses a pair of 7/8 Wilwood high volume Master cylinders to run the brakes. They are nothing fancy. They arnt even power assisted. Im having trouble with my rear setup. No pressure at the calipers. Bled them like normal. Nothing... I have had a small ...

Seeesh! I was wondering how this thread kept being at the top of the active topics. You'd think the title was "Opinions wanted on running a dive tank" or "who will fill my shitty dive tank?" Instead it's simply a smart guy who's considered his options and now wants to purchase a...

Re: Wanted: Dive Tank
ima diver but ive never bothered with tanks, and will be using A/c if going for tanks, TRy and buy the newer steels - you can get up to 15l now about $400-500 new, these hold a lot more ie 40%. than the older 80-88cu (equiv to 11l) alloys, the new steels are bigger dia than old alloys and bit short...

Re: Wanted: Dive Tank
Get a good safe tank ... the gas tanks I deal with at work are loaded to between 250 & 300 MPa ( Mega Pascals ) that's 36000 & 43000 PSI. That's a bomb. NO dive shop will fill an untested tank. Cant believe you want to bang & bash around something that will kill you when it fails. If yo...

Re: Wanted: Dive Tank
Thats why I am looking for a scuba tank that is either with a current test or one that can still pass so I can take it to a dive shop and get it filled.
Using the low pressure loop from a dive regulator I can get multiple fills out of one tank

Re: Wanted: Dive Tank
Cheers for the tip Crash.
I have played with a few compressors with mixed results. If I had room I would throw a AC pump in. For the amount of times I will use it I want to just have a dive tank that is at dive pressure. Not really worried about the few bucks to get it refilled

Wanted: Dive Tank
Looking for a dive tank for an air supply for my buggy.
Doesn't need to be in test but would need to have a good chance to pass. Doesnt need to be pretty. Looking for around the 10L capacity (confined a bit on the overall length I can fit. I have 700mm overall)
Cheers Guys

I have in the past towed a highly modified zuk around the wellington area. We had a farm reg and trailer lights hooked up same as you would a trailer.
While it worked to get the truck to where we were going it was hell to tow. The caster was way out so past about 70k it had a mind of its own.
