Re: Show us your ......... JEEP
Well, we got back from our first decent road trip in the WJ. I reset the computer before we left; clocked 2000kms and averaged 11.1 L/100km. Just to compare, this is a 4.7HO V8 with about 287 ponies. I did the same trip two years before in a Disco2 running a 2.5 Diesel that averaged (about) 9L/100 ...

Re: KL71 or MT764?
I run roughly 36psi at front and 34psi at the back on Jane, had the same for the Surf for years. Had been told all sorts of "recommended" pressures by tyre guys, but it always depends on your truck's weight so theres no one rule for all  Good rule of thumb to go for a drive for at hi...

Re: KL71 or MT764?
As above post they dont wear quickly. Chur I'll second that, used KL71s on my surf for years and now on the Jeep, they wear f*ck all with right pressure on trucks around the 2ton mark. Apparently they wear worse on the heavier trucks. Paid just over 300 per tyre not long ago, thats including fittin...

Just found specs for both Khumo KL71's and BFG KM2's are minimum 8.5" The certifier is into 4wd's by the sounds of it but is sticking to the rule even though it is a bit silly and he has argued it with the powers that be. Does the width marked on your rim? I have custom made 8"ones, might...
