Brother is wrecking an sw20 turbo mr2 and I no some of you boys use the rear calipers for a disc conversion on hiluxs he wants $100 for them located in Chch but can send.

If your wanting one youll keep for 20 years then deffiantly try before you buy i used to borrow a mates cheap chinese under and over and it fitted me like a glove i could hardly miss with that old girl then i bought my own gun (stoeger 2000-only issue ive had is some brand of 3 inch ammo get jammed)...

I forgot about this thread motor is now running like a new one mechanic tried running it a bit richer which seems to have fixed the problem went out last weekend all day and had no problems and we stopped and started a lot.boat takes a little longer to start in the mornings now and i have to give it...

was just over bonnet of hilux coming back through at high tide on saturday got a good feed of blue cod and had a bloody cracker of a day bring on summer and the king fish.

sparky suspects faulty armature or field coils,when he took it apart and was unable to find a fault visually. I've had it taken apart by 3 different electricians and they all told me starter was fine and it bench tested good as gold. glad to finally have it sorted i no longer have to fear frosts

I have replaced both battery terminals with new ones and they are on there nice and tight when i jump i clamp onto both terminals and since truck is in garage(driven in) i just use a spare battery i have laying around and jump it of that. Ive borrowed a starter motor I'm on my way out to put it in and well see if that helps, i have cleaned up all the earths and run an extra earth from the battery to the block with no luck.how would i check for leaking injector or oil? cheers troy

Battery was 12.70 volts last night and 12.69 volts this morning truck still not starting. truck cranks slow when i bridge starter motor relay so does that rule out glow plugs? cheers for the ideas guys keep them coming.

hey guys I've disconnected the battery so we will see how she starts in the morning. Trucked it has done it a few times in summer if left for a few days, I always thought I must of left the lights on or something cheers for the ideas would be great to have a truck that starts 1st time every time.

Hey mate do you have an aftermarket bulbar on your truck? i used to have overheating problems with mine till i drilled a few holes in bar to help with airflow-i took front bar of to test it and couldn't believe the difference.

Lowering a ruf hilux
I have a ln106 hilux which i have had rug conversion with cross over steering put in it. truck is on 35s but id like to have it on 31s for towing the boat but hate the look of the truck with them on, is there any way of changing springs or will the crossover steering hit on the leafs?

Its been a few years since I've re vinned a car but back then if it was pre 1993 and previously registered in nz it was $280 to get it revinned and the check wasn't much harder then a wof.
