Re: Calling so qd32 gurus
Knew i could trust off road express to point me in the right direction. I am quite faimiler with the non electronic qds and td27s. All these electronics drive me nuts. The light only ocasinaly comes on and idle gets rough when it does so sounds like the relay is a good place to start looking. Thanks...

Re: another td27 heating issues thread
when was the water pump last done. Was a new radiator cap fitted along with new radiator. Are the rubber inlet/outlet hoses in good condition...not perished or deteriorated inside, expanded reducing flow? Are you basing your heating assumptions on the factory temperature gauge. Anti freeze...was th...

Re: 24-25 Jan
finally got around to ripping the gearbox out of the d21 terrano and replacing it with a d22 narvara gearbox.
Alot easier to do than what i thought (with some expert help) only had to drill two holes in cross member and mod the slave cylinder the rest was plug and play.

d22 navara gearbox into d21 Terrano
As title suggests i am looking at putting a manual gearbox from a qd32 d22 navara into my 93 terrano.
Is this a simple bolt in option? or does it require some modifying?
Have been told the bell housing will bolt up just not sure on the rest as its a bigger gearbox.
Any advice would be great
Thanks

Re: Cooling system troubleshooting TD27
have had the same issue with mine so put after market gauge in it and from just under half to 3/4 on factory gauge is only 15ish degrees on after market one.
i have pushed mine hard on up hills and has never gone over 3/4 on factory gauge (about 100-115 on after market one)

last time i talked to the ranger said they are planing to log all the pine trees out north of the erye river (hence why it closed). Can still get to river via harris road (turn left after one way bridge). Was a write up in one of the local rags about clearing all the down trees and making a decent 4...

be careful when looking at some of the king quads because where the diff lock cable goes into the case can crack, but have yet to have that issue with mine. apart from that there awesome fun and with high, low and super low gears goes almost everywhere.
