Re: Mitsi 3.5 auto choke/idle stepper motor needed

if the battery has gone flat or been disconnected mitsi need to relearn idle - just a fyi , dissconnect battery for 5 mins , put it back on and let it idle for 5-10mins with no load i.e air con , steering wheel straight , then drive it might be all it is - worth a try anyway :)

Re: Snapped front body bolts

drill them out would be the only option really unless you can soak them in wd-40 , crc penetrate or something like that and try to use a easy out on them but if they snapped chances are their bloody tight , other option is if you get a oxy torch in there and try heat up the bolt it might loosen it e...

i bought some of those hubs for a safari i had , seemed to be a really tight fit to get on then when it came to taking them off to do the swivel hubs the spigot locating ring that sits inside the wheel/4wd hub got stuck in there whilst the rest of the manual hub came off , could just be a one off th...

Re: Dreaming!: 350 chev vs toyota v8 vs rebuilt 1kz-te

All valid points. The truck is a weekend toy, I dont drive it daily, so fuel costs don't really matter. Maintenance costs however are somewhat important, I don;t want to be chucking new difs at it every month,. Been there done that , that's why i now have a suzuki it doesn't have enough power to br...

Re: Need help with 80series brakes

clamp off the the brake hoses and check the pedal each time you clamp one off to see if there is a difference (if there is and the pedal goes hard you know thats where the problem is) if not i'd be picking master cylinder or somewhere between brake hoses and m/cylinder , sometimes if it has a load s...

Its still a lawn rover. It will have bits drop off, overheat, hate water, not want to go again when its been near water, run and idle properly only on special occasions and its a v8 with v6 power. I wouldn't want to give 5k for it. I guess if you enjoy holding your mates up when its playing up and ...
