what are the ratios for cruisers? looking to run 35-36's so figured the 4.8 would be the best to run for a on and off road truck.
also thought the hilux axles might be alot easier to obtain
i am open to suggestions though.

Isuzu bighorn sas help!
Hi there about to embark on a sas into my bighorn, was wondering if anyone can shed some light on a list of parts im going to need, im going to use hilux 4.8s front and rear and hoping to do coilovers and maybe an estimated cost on other peoples sas's?? pm me if you like what parts/brands you recome...

if the timing was out wouldnt it be sluggish all through the rev range its only crap on idle and up to about 3500rpm. im no mechanic by all means im just typing on behalf dad who im doing the project with is more of a techie than me, and we live out in swananoa which is just out of rangiora bout 10 ...

There were timing marks to follow on engine, i guess they are what i follow so set them eaxct and TDC on main, is that what i set it to? were other marks 10 and 20 degrees i think. just presumed it was center. brand new crank angle sensor with extended wires as tne one i bought wasn't long enough so...

My old man said the same thing when he took his mini in (about AA testing station) told him his gearbox was screwed and was going to cost him about $1500 when he fixed it himself for $140 lol can't remember what the exact prob was

I think theres only 2 in chch,
I had a guy take my car to canterbury car inspections, 2d wordsworth st, charged $110 for a subaru legacy, GT took just over 2 hours
Or AA for memory they were pretty busy so might have to book a few days in advance

Alternative to wound up torsion bars
Was just wondering if there is an alternative way to raise the front 50mm rather than winding up torsion bars on a 93 swb paj as i can imagine this puts them under alot of un due stress
