2) Set of +50mm shocks (Ironman rears and Munroe fronts) with HD spings (+25mm)
3) Set of +100mm IRO springs and shocks available end of January as I've gone for a custom set-up

WTB: XJ or ZJ front driveshaft
Hi All,
Looking for an XJ/ZJ front driveshaft and yokes to fit DANA 30 and NV247 (32 spline). Roughly 860mm-935mm collapsed/extended.
Based in CHCH, preferably closer the better.
Cheers,
JP

Re: Speedo correction
So the speedo is out by 10%. 50kph on the dash is 55 on the GPS, 100kph is 110 on the GPS.
I am attempting to fit the JayCar module this week, looks to be the same set-up as many US based speedo calibration modules.

Re: Speedo correction
if its an analogue speedo the easiest way is to make up a new sticker with the 10, 20, 30 40 etc in the correct places and stick that on the faceplate over the old numbers, you'd be surprised how original and good or better you can get it to look with a bit of time spent on paint or whatever progra...

Looking on the website, that gauge measures your air/fuel ratio not your exhaust temps.......can this be done on a diesel? I often hear exhaust temps are a good indicator for a diesel.
EDIT: I see you have 2 gauges and I got confused over the dual gauge functions of the first one - ignore me

Thanks for the advice - my truck is a 2003 Grand Cherokee CRD. From what I understand I need to intercept the signal from the ABS sender. I'll search and see what can be found. I know one solution is for the dealer to reflash the PCM with new tyre size. But whether dealers in NZ do that is what I d...

Hi Team,
Any Jeepers here recalibrated their electronic speedo when fitting larger tyres? What did you use? Who did you go to? I'm looking at the JayCar option but not 100% convinced this will work.
Cheers,
JP

Re: Monocoque chassis and guard trimming
Just heard back from the Cert guy - this is structural so needs to be cert'ed, but only for the rear guards. The fronts are bolt on so he is happy for me to cut about 50mm.

Monocoque chassis and guard trimming
Just a couple of quick questions....
1) Can you cut/trim front and rear guards on a monocoque chassis 4x4 without requiring a cert?
2) Do you have to weld the inner and outer skins back together or can you safely use an automotive sealer?
Thanks in advance,
JP

Thanks Guys,
They are for a 2004 WJ/WG Grand Cherokee. The reason I'm after 16x8s is because I already have a spare set of 265/75/16s just need rims.

Hi Team,
Anybody know where to source some steel wheels with a 5x127 (5"x5") PCD preferably in NZ? I'm looking for some 16x8s.
Regards,
JP

Hi Team,
Are coil spring spacers legal (50mm)? Either on their own or with a 50mm spring lift to give 100mm (certed)?
Thanks in advance,
JP

Re: Auber reliability?
I hooked up the gauge directly off the battery (fused) and it was no-go. I then took the cover off the gauge and removed the insides and connected to the battery - no-go. Perhaps a dry solder somewhere? I'm going to get a new unit anyway. Off-topic slightly, but I like the look of the gauges in my B...

Auber reliability?
After purchasing a dual output gauge for my Boost and EGT in June (SYL-2813), the unit has failed (been in the truck for 1500km - no offroading). The install and wiring is good, and has been checked by an auto sparky, but it will not power on. Auberins have offered to extend the 90 day warranty and ...

I'm currently running 265/75x16 Maxxis Buckshots on my Isuzu Bighorn and I'm getting a humming sound between 40-65km/h and again around 90-100km/h around the front left side. I have replaced the rotors, pads, wheel bearings, and have rebuilt the calipers. The garage reckons its the tyre tread - I'm ...

Hi Team, Can somebody explain to me how many extra lights I can have fitted? I think I can add 2x high beam spots and 2x foglights.
