want to put some 31x10.5r15 MT's on my terrano but have a few questions regarding wheel choice. What would be ideal size rim (width) to use and what offset? anyone got a rough idea what the nolothane products cost compared to genuine? Ive never had much to do with nolothane products, had a friend that went out and bought a whole heap of the stuff for a hilux and he reckons it felt horrible to drive after installing it all, said it felt "edgy" ...

thanks, will investigate, wondered if it might have had something to do with that, was having to take it out of overdrive to get up hills etc but then it drops right down and revs its tits off, had to drive it all the way back from Nelson down through Murchison etc back home to Culverden like that, ...

Hey guys few days ago my transmission started playing up and jumping around through all the gears, my dash lights were also flickering on and off so i guessed i had an earth problem, i removed the main earth from the battery to the body, sanded all surfaces back to shiny metal and it seemed fine aft...

Hi all names Ryan, long time lurker but havnt ever really posted much on here. Not really a big offroader but im a farmer and do a bit of hunting so I usually have a terrano or an escudo of some description in the shed.

cant be too hard can it? swap the pedal boxes over, swap the flywheel on the manual for flexplate on the auto, then dump it all back in

well... I did it, truck is going in to get new camchain and tensioner etc next week (is suffering from the common rattly camchain these things seem to be notorious for) then its wof time so fingers crossed. if they pick up on it I will just swap out the brakes as suggested

yea rolled one was a lwb and so is the new one but the v6 one definately has larger brakes than the 1600, i like the idea of keeping the brakes if I can as I will use the truck for a lot of road work and towing etc,

yea usually it is the that the valve body is just gunked up with heaps of crap thick old oil I was amazed at the amount of shit that came out of a couple of my ones haha

get it flushed, how many kms has it done? I have owned several auto terranos and the gearbox seems to be a temperamental thing on them, a good flush and new oil does them wonders. Local nissan dealer flushed mine for me, its not a job you can do yourself as they use a special machine and cycle fluid...
