300 tdi electric fuel pump

My discovery 1 has developed an intermittent stalling problem. I have just replaced the fuel filter and it looks like there is another filter back under the chassis near the back. I will replace that too when I can. It has a Facet electric fuel pump which could also be a possibility. Is anyone else ...

Re: Battery drain

I recently had a an abs fault with mine which turned out to be a faulty abs relay. Caused by water leaking from ( I suspect) around the windscreen. This also caused my battery to slowly discharge as the relays under the glovebox were filling up with water. I suggest you pop the glovebox out and have...

Re: hydraulic winch

I would be pretty keen to know how it goes, keep us informed.
a straight bolt on to an lt230 is the way to go I reckon, at least it's a proven product before we start and it looks pretty compact. are you buying the winch as well or just the pump?

Re: disco 1 coil springs

think the problem is a bent track rod so have just replaced that. turned out to be a bloody mission as the track rod adjuster was rusted into the track rod and I hadn't ordered one of those. note to self - order both if this happens again!!

hydraulic winch

so I am thinking about a budget hydraulic winch for my disco 1 (3.9 v8) bush truck
is there a pto kit for an lt230 transfer case to drive an hydraulic pump ( I think I can get a pump easy enough)
there seems to be lots of ideas on the web but has anybody actually done this sort of thing successfully??

Re: The saga continues, stupid cold mornings.

I could be waaay off base here so don't shoot me but I had a company vehicle once that had glowplug issues, and the heater circuit was bypassed by a mechanic. He wired 12 volts onto the plugs, but it wasn't meant to have 12 volts, like 6 volts or something instead. needless to say I burnt those litt...
