Crunchy trail has a locked gate. Been there for years. Lchundy is thinking of the erewhon trail. last time i talked to them entry was allowed they just wanted gold coin koha and to check your safety gear. Camping at the doc campground on the south side of the bluff is good. Not hard to find. And the...

Re: Rear Axle bearing removal
I'm guessing the axle and bearing are still stuck in the housing.
And the hub has snapped off leaving no way to get the axle/ bearing out.
Is this the green rodeo i saw a pic of on nz offroader fb page?

WTD. 130 series surf Left/R axle. UNI.
Hi.
My dads kzn130 surf snapped its left axle last week.
Just taking off from an intersection and pop.
I'm looking for one to replace it. Anyone got anything lying around?
Preferrably north of auckland.
Thanks.

Fitted some 33 inch hankook rt03's to my safari.
Rubs on the mudflap at lock so time for some radius arm spacers.
I'm thinking 10mm will do it.
Oh and they stick out a little bit haha

Factory Td42t manifolds are t3 flange.
evo ones are some 3 bolt triangle pattern usually...?
Just put a high flowed ht18 with bigger front housing on my safari. Hauls good on 10psi and was bolt in.

Re: 1kz-te - what is this hose for?
Is there tap of some sort on the airbox end?
Maybe in the box?
If not would be best to do away with it and put a new hose from the turbo to the actuator.
Need a gauge to tell exactly what boost levels are.
get a exhaust gas temp gauge while you're at it.
Adam
EDIT. Beat me to it. Good choice mate.

Re: jatco 50 cent trans mod
So after a couple weeks with this mod done i have sadly had to plug the factory resistor back in. It does a funny thing while on decell, only in top gear with overdrive off though. it sort of pulses the engine braking, pretty violently actually. Doesn't do it in any other gear. I'm going to try a lo...

Bunged a 1 watt 4k7 resistor in mine yesterday.
Night and day difference in shifting. Its awesome.
Feels perfect. Shifts smooth yet quick.
Love driving it even more now. Now some more boost 12psi I think.

A bunch of kaitaia 4wd club boys went through the crunchie on labour weekend so access is possible. There is a sign with a number on the gate now. So i'm wanting to do this mod.
I have concerns about my truck being a safari and everyone else is talking patrol..
Ie 24 vs 12 volt.
Do I still use the same ohm resistor.

Supposed to be a resistor where the clutch master would be on the firewall if it was manual..

This mod would suit you mate.
Just makes the slush box less "slushy"
Shifts are firmer, quicker and more positive.
No need to touch the lever any more then before the mod.
Cheers

Re: Another Terrano Auto Trans question..
My Safari does sort of the same thing.
Won't lock the TC until its warmed up.
Usually takes 5mins or so, Does it in the same spot everytime within 100m when going to town or south
I think that's normal?
but mine doesn't go in and out of lock like you're describing.

Just need the turbo outlet flange and gasket
And yes its factory turbo
