making rev counter work?
i have a mid 90s hilux with a 1jzgte running a link g3 ecu. the guy who wired it up said that my tach wont work because its made to run off a coil not an ecu
but what iv heard is that something can be bridged to make it go?
or do i just find a v6 surf tach?

Ok problem solved now i have a secondary radiator under the ute tray. coolant comes out of motor into front radiator then to the back radiator (flows through both) and now the highest temp iv had is 90 degrees when i took it for a good thrash and left it to idle for 30 mins. my only thought now is w...

Sorry the pipe that runs around the motor is only used for the heater so only has water flowing when heater is on.

Sorry the fan is on the front of the radiator ie pushing air through So it goes Grille Intercooler Fan Radiator Engine Fan is attached to radiator and has straight blades so should do both directions If I am reading this right your fan is in between the intercooler and radiator. Will get onto shroud next week unsure of brand on fan but does take up the whole height of the radiator

there is simply no room for a bigger radiator can go wider because of piping cant go up or down because of bonnet and cross member and cant go thicker because of the motor. what exactly do you mean by header tank? wont this just take longer but still eventually heat up???

i need a couple bits and cant find anything on trademe
i need a dip stick and the steel tube it sits in
and i need the alloy Y section that bolts to the sump for the turbo return lines (for a front sump)

Putting a 1JZ-GTE into my hilux and struggling with where to start on making the mounts. Im keeping the factory gearbox and my ute is a 22r but if anybody has any mounts or drawings to fit a 1jz into ANY hilux i can move my chassis mounts around to suit more than willing to pay somebody for drawings...

do you mean kzn130 front? its all direct bolt up mate yea think its kzn130 its the facelift front and is definitely not direct bolt up and it would make it alot easier with the surf front panel but i couldnt get it from the gut i bought the front end off wouldn't send it but iv been to see cert guy...

check the adjustment on rear drums, my old landcruiser past cert first time with the brakes being factory rebuilt ones like yours the only difference was i spaced up proportioning valve on mine and i cant figure out why u need a sway bar i took the factory one out before cert and it had shit loads o...
