Re: G16B idle issue - un burn fuel smell
I would start buy pulling leads off and seeing which one doesn't affect its running on 3, then checking that lead and plug, can swap the lead or plug to see if the issue is the same. could also be a dizzy if it has one or a coilpack/igniter. Im not too familiar with this motor but in general the abo...

Re: how do people turn off and on a digital speedo
I think many people do have switches in their trucks but most will be an older style analog speedo, I don't know anyone with a digital speedo that has bothered with switches esp if you have to get an Auto sparkey to figure it out - might cost more than its worth.

Re: how do people turn off and on a digital speedo
The problem with a digital speedo is it is likely used for more ECU data than just speed.
The thought process is the same for digital speedo vs cable speedo.
If it sees extensive time off road then you can log book it and apply for a refund pretty easily.

Re: 1HD-T Surging idle
Thanks turoa, mine doesn't occur on uphill etc, it increases idle rather than decrease and its more random as your driving along, speed and gear is not a factor, uphill and downhill is not a factor either, it can a split second and other times it has been 20mins before it has dropped back to usual.....

Bit of a necro thread revival, have this happen and it seems completely random, seems unrelated to AC... just wondering if anyone found a fix?

I would suspect both the river crossing would be a lot easier in summer, same with the deep ruts it wold be possible to wander your way along the top rather than slipping into them.

Yesterday we went in from the millers flat side with 6 trucks and 4 went thru to the church, the waterways were well up due to recent rain, anywhere that would hold water was full. The 1st crossing wasn't too bad about bonnet height and slow moving, the 2nd one in was very fast flowing and deeper, a...

Hey Guys,
Will it still be passable after all this rain... weather repost showing its still raining, are there any river crossing etc that will be well up?
We are still thinking of going tomorrow so wondering how bad it could be.

80 Series Automatic transmission breather install - is there an easy way?
Gidday Guys,
I'm assuming someone on here has done this before, imlooking for advise if is there an easy way to extend the factory breather (if there is one) and can I tee the transfer box and transmission breathers together or should I run two lines?
Thanks In advance
