Re: V6 Commie and auto to hilux transfer box

Just make one, or get your local engineer to do it. 12mm plate to bolt onto t/c, 12mm plate to bolt onto auto, machine a tube to locate the two, overall length of mine was 200mm. Cut a piece of spline off commie driveshaft and press into a piece of tube, do the same with the splined collar from your...

Re: V6 Commie and auto to hilux transfer box

If its a late model auto, ie, electronic, then you need to think about the speed sensor. I have just pulled my vr auto and fitted a vn, simple cable operated with no need for an...

Re: hilux rear suspension

Use the lower ones in place of the top then make a new lower set to suit. you will need to make new chassis mounts and use longer shocks. Use the ratio between your old and new top link to work out your new lower link length, ie if your new top is 2x longer than original, make your new lower 2x than...

Im putting together a escudo/hilux/commodore V6. I have a remote transfer box from a patrol. Anyone have any reasons why i shouldnt use it behind the V6 auto? Be nice to get some feedback before i mount it up.
