hi thanks for your help. had a look on ebay and could only find GU patrol ones im after the GQ set. I think my local wrecker has tracked some down for me will have to wait and see what condition are they in. terry ill get back to ya on that if the ones from the wrecker are no good ill be in touch. h...

wanted safari stub axles

hi im looking for a set of stub axles for a safari front diff they seem to be quite hard to find. the threads on the end must be in good nic.
I can get genuine ones from Nissan but they're $550 a side am hoping to not have to spend that much haha.
any help would be great . cheers

Yea done the sas swap got a patrol auto under there and the usal td27 mods intercooler more fuel, boost and bigger alloy radiator. Now just saving funds to lift a little and 35s . And got to build a bumper and chuck winch in too

100 ? that sound allgood im not realy sure wat they worth just ripped it all out of mine and traded with safari diff. and yup il put that up now

once youve got them sorted let me know i may be keen as ive got to sort that 100mm diffrence with the safari front diff in my terrano aswell. make sure u put some pics of them up when u get them sorted

all ya need for it is the transfer case and the the back most piece of the gearbox. thats what i did with mine and it goes quite well, quite like factory really except strong front end...... dont forget to post up a project page, and if you have any questions feel free to ask as ive been there and ...

thats a good point. i wouldnt be doing the work im going to get the local 4wd guy to do it as its way out of my leage at the moment lol. so maybe keep it nissan then :D

thanks for all the info guys. i am going to try keep it manual so i may look further into the surf gearbox. i was also thinking maybe cut and flip diff and get the biger stronger terranoll gear box and shorten the diff a little while im at it. but then agian if i ever break anything replacement part...

what gear box to use?

ok im planing a sas swap on my terrano and i was wondering if anyone on here knowes if a hilux gear box will adapt to td27 easily. or if there are any other good strong gearboxs i could use that will adapt reasonably easy. i am waiting to go with the drivers side drop so i wont have to cut and flip ...
