Re: Camping Suggestions

Tarawera outlet x3, it's a great spot, or if ya want to do some easy fishing, I'm now a great fan of Port Jackson, both awesome spots. Also Fletchers bay, just a bit further on from Jackson is really nice. A bit quieter as the waves don't break quite as close to your tent site. These sites only have...

Suzola - What a legend.

A big thanks needs to go to Tim, from this weekend at the Manukau Winch comp. Driver and I happened to brake a sterring J arm in front of Tim who was spectating, he introduced himself, had a look and reckoned he may have a spare or two at home. He offered to go back home, and grab a couple for us. B...

Re: GQ wheel studs - best $$$

I brought some for a subaru a while back for $5 or under each.

Cheapest place was Davie Motors (Holden Dealership) in Manukau.
Had all sorts there, straight from the parts department.

Generally known as the biggest rip off place ever! Go figure.

Just came back from super cheap Mt Wellington, and those 9m 10000 kg polyester recovery strap (with snatch strap written on the side) are on special for $20 bargain!!

Now I feel really ripped off!! Ha ha live and learn.

That's makes some good reading, Orange 10,000 cheapy from SCA. I always thought mine had buggar all stretch in it - haven't really given it a good test to be honest. I definately never knew there was a difference between poly or nylon. So cheers for the info. Off to buy something else .... it's beco...

When I put a tow bar on mine, it started making a similar type sqeak, it was rubbing on the back bumper mounts. Perhapes check that, and your bar work, spare wheel carrier etc? It did take a little bit before I finally realised. Had some one else driving like a mad man, me in the boot with everythin...

Re: I got a free trailer, now I need to restore it

Everything about trailer weight said is 100% correct, But even though ......... if we all followed car manufacturers recommendations, there shouldn't be any 5-6m fibreglass boats on unbraked trailers in the country, yet most of them are. As long as your tow wagon can stop in 7m at 30km/h I reckon go...

I'ld have a shop around local, I picked some Firestone destination a/t last year in that size for $205 bal/fittedwhich would be cheaper than those two once they are fitted. Was offered some Dueler MT's for $230 bal/fitted also. As far as the Destinations go, I've only put on 13k or so on them (proba...

Yeah, a decent chilly (ours is shit) would of probably done us for our needs I reckon. But for $309 including post ya can't go wrong. Looking $200 plus just for a proper insulated chilly. This way I still justify a decent new chilly bin for the boat later on! Being an internet genius, the 1 day frid...
