1KZ Diesel Injector Pump

I have for sale on TM a 1KZ Diesel Injector Pump from my drowned "snorkel-less" 94 surf if anyone is interested........yup a costly lesson and yup the snorkel was on the list of to do. It was overhauled 18-24mths ago because of the leaky seals by north harbour diesel. http://www.trademe.co...

Re: ridge rider winch

But is a little noisy ..am going to throw away the soleniod box it came with & put on a sealed unit then bigger cables to make it more reliable. x2 Have one on my surf also and its noisiest winch I've heard (turns heads lol) but works great and the only failure I've had was the solenoid which I...

Re: HILUX SURF IDLER STOPPER

I'm on my 5th idler for my 94 surf in 2yrs and the latest one has lasted the longest from coastal auto approx $110, all from different suppliers and 2 second hand ones from earlier models. Quite a good writeup for a brace here if you have the gear http://forum.ih8mud.com/79-95-toyota-truck-tech/6739...

Re: will i notice a rear difflocker in surf when driving on

I've had a lockrite in the rear of my surf, auto 1kz, for only a few months now and honestly am so happy with how it performs offroad that the alterations mentioned in driving techniques above are really pretty insignificant and will quickly become second nature to you in no time. We can only hear t...

Re: roof racks wanted

I'm still after some roof racks like this: http://images.trademe.co.nz/photoserver/70/241651470_full.jpg They attach to the almost hidden rails that run down some R50 roofs. There are 3 metal lugs on each side. Give me a yell if you have got any to sell...or know where I can get them. Went to my lo...

Hey man I have one on my surf and it has done well and we must be about the same weight as your terrano at a guess. They are a bit blardy noisey though so do sound as cheap as they are lol. I burnt out a solenoid running it a bit long dragging a rangey outta the mud on a double line pull but since r...

Re: Suzuki Wanted

Hey I will have a jimny for sale in just under a week as its getting a few paint only touchups at the local shop at the moment on one corner. I will list it on trademe but it may be a little overpriced for the offroad scene as its a 2006 manual with only 34k on it and setup for aframe towing. I dont...
