Diesel 4wds that can't be "switched"
Hi guys, I'm looking to buy a 4wd ute for around 12k. I know that odometer switches are common, but I have also heard that some are impossible to do this? To increase my chances of buying one with legit kms, does anyone know which ones can't? I'm looking mainly at D22 navaras, early/mid 2000s triton...

Re: tyre recomendations for Terrano
thanks for the reply, I have been looking for some used 31s at a reasonable price but I have come across some 32x11.5.
would these fit? dont really want any scrapping issues but they are a good price.

Re: Fuel adjustment?
Hey there. There are way too many reasons to list here in one go that can cause the black smoking. To me there is a few things to consider first. Don't touch the fuel screw, or the next post will be "TD27 with no power". Diesels need a fine balance of air and fuel to burn well and make lo...

Re: Fuel adjustment?
yep air filter was the first thing I checked, took it out and it still smoked.
Have put some Morley's in the tank and it hasn't made a difference.
not sure if it has a mech or elec pump, dads borrowed it because he had an accident the other day so cant check.

Fuel adjustment?
Hi I recently bought a 94 Terrano TD27. It wasn't smoking when I bought it but now it smokes quite a lot of black smoke on acceleration. I have read that this is over fueling and the amount of fuel can be adjusted but I cant seem to find where. Can anyone tell me where the screw is and maybe some ti...

Hey guys. I'm new to all this stuff, picked up a 94 Terrano 2.7td the other day...my first 4wd. I have some Qs regarding the tyres. Apparently it has a 1" lift, I noticed it has aftermarket springs and shocks in the rear , and is running 265/70r15 Maxxis Bravo H/T. Now I commute on my motorbike...
