No Name Road off Rutherglen Road is open, they have finished logging in that area. 4wd track (Blackwater) access is straight across the intersection that the No Name Road comes on to. Not sure if that is 100% passable into Kumara due to a slip at the third river crossing,

Nice, cheers guys. Gona go with the 8s. I fitted 1 tyre on the 7, one on the 8 and the 7" Pajero rim looked like a big juicy piece of goat shit.

Not sure if there is already a post similar to this. But I have some 35x11.5r15 Silverstones coming, and I have 2 sets of rims sitting around. One set is 15x7 and the other is 15x8. TD42 Starter Motor Fix

Gidday all. So starter motor has decided to be lame. now to get it to start I have to belt the shit out of the starter solenoid as i turn the key to get it to click into life. Obviously im in for a clean out and maybe a rebuild. Any tips on how to strip the starter motor and where to get brushes etc...

Oh yeah sweet. It didnt come with any. Iv just used cotter pins for now, will get a high tensile bolt for the gearbox end, and a genuine pin for the winch end.

Very stupid question, iv never owned a pto winch before, the shear pins connect the driver shaft to the output and input shafts?

Cheers guys, ive taken the winch amd fitted it up. Everything check out ok, fitted it up amd its perfect. Only thing missing is a clamp for the engagement cable by the pto drive off the gearbox. Should be pretty easy to sort.

Wee update on the Safari. All Is well, WAIC install was a fail as the water pump was shagged, so I have just kept the hot pipe at the moment. Have also goten rid of the pod filter and fitted an air box out pf a digger. It has 3" inlet and outlet, so its going to flow bloody well and filters are...

So got a new set of 15x8s yesterday to replace the 15x10s. this weekends mission, cutting and welding the rear caps. Then 4" snorkel!
