92 NZ new SWB Patrol 2250 full of gas and me..... very very hard to crash start by yourself but not impossible.....

2" or 50mm Patrol/Safari GQ SWB Body Lift Blocks and Bolts

Plan was a 2" spring and 2" body lift..... 4" of spring and all the other bits later, no need for these anymore.

Brand new from 4wdbits, never used or fitted. Have reciept if needed.

Heya, would like to say a big thanks for the uploads, about to tackle a bearing issue with a mates ute (main input bearing D22) the manuals are going to make the job a hell of a lot easier now!

Give the head of the bolt a few good hits with a small hammer, if you cant get a clean hit on the head of the bolt, use a pin punch, this will usually 'shock' the threads and loosen the rust and crap etc

Silverdale Radiators, go on, just spend that little extra and you wont regret it! I went for the heavy duty option for my td42+t, quite comforting not having to watch the temp guage while dragging 2 ton of boat up the kopuhikawais, plus you can say goodbye to plastic end tanks :D

From my knowledge, the 'factory' turbo engine started coming out in safari's from late 1993 onwards, round about the same time they started to include a sidelight on the guard (corner turning aide?). The engine was usally distinguished by a black rocker cover. Just my 2 cents :)

glow plugs, just replaced a few sets in mates utes, tip - dont buy the cheap ones, you'll only end up replacing them in about a year.

... Yes the engines are a interference type. The most damage I've seen personally is broken rockers. ...... Old mans 4d56t has survived 2 teenage sons driving antics, 2 broken balance belts, 1 broken cambelt (broke 2 rockers, replaced them without taking the head off) still has the original turbo! ...

Is the old girl hard to start? Go through a bit of oil etc? Ever thought of a compression test to check the donk aint a bit puffy/worn? Otherwise if you want to start with the basics, reset the valve tappets, biff the pre air filter, install a decent main air filter, new fuel filter and if you want ...
