Re: Mitsubishi Triton 3.2 Diesel Info wanted

i think that would be a common comment from most service departments at dealers. have just ordered a new suction control valve for my triton as have bad surging at idle and it is now throwing codes up and sending into limp mode. how much are you selling the chips for?

Re: Mitsubishi Triton 3.2 Diesel Info wanted

theres heaps of info in http://www.newtriton.net . most common fault is the egr blocking the inlet manifolds with gunk, fuel pressure regulator solenoid seems to go on these a bit. have had to do the timing chain on mine (205kms) which isnt a cheap job but have only heard it happen on a few of them ...

Re: Another Hilux with starting issues

dont these trucks come out with twin batteries from the factory as an option? think it was part of a winter pack in japan for the cold conditions. maybe its just a case of having two batteries to give it the extra grunt it needs over the cooler months

3l injector pump

Hey guys, noticed my hilux developed a small leak on the injector pump a few days ago. So after looking at the manual I figured it wasn't to hard to replace the o ring behind the thermo wax. This fixed the leak for a couple of days and now it's leaking again. Has anyone had a similar problem or any ...

Re: Snorkel hose help

you can use intercooling pipe but im not sure it would be to much cheaper than the original part. i would get that fixed sooner rather than later as your engine will be sucking in unfiltered air at the moment

Re: Thinking about buying a Terrano, what to look out for?

R50 terranos are generally pretty good. how ever they suffer from the rear suspension bushes wearing and become a nightmare to drive. also a few people have reported the crank angle sensor buggering out on them and the engines revs up by itself and does all funny things. they are easy to fix, altoug...

Re: sports quad vs mx bike what to buy?

i always thought a quad would be sweet, that you can load em up with a bit a gear and do over nighters etc, fishing rods, chili bins, fishing trips through the dunes, get a 4x4 quad and you have a mini 4wd.... but not really... :? Ive has a couple of quads for the same reasons. still give you the o...
